Why isn't the course 'shit hot', give reasons please?

Why haven't many Brits qualified if the said course isn't 'shit hot'?

Also how are the British girls doing thus far?

And how do you update a website from the middle of nowhere??

Ta!

alright Lee.

sorry the information is a little brief.   the reason for this is I'm not actually there, I'm sat at home wishing I could be there, but I'm actually just getting text messages from our riders who are there.

I have no idea why the course isn't too good, but I guess it'll be pretty similar to Alp d'huez last year, which was essentially a grassy hill with 0 technical stuff on it.  So I'm guessing thats why DC is a little dissappointed.

No idea about the British girls as everything I've been told is above.  Thats all I know I'm afraid.

latest words from Cookson.

"course was a bit to euro for our liking, except for peaty who annihilated everyone! DC and I missed qualification by 1.5 seconds - gutted.   out now to get Maxxed!"

results are out.

Peaty wins the mens with Gee and Donny also in the top 9.

Tracey wins the womens with Fionn and Helen also in the top 9.

So not a bad showing from this small nation with no chairlifts!!

Gee was on the podium - he was 5th!   Helen was also 5th I think.

With Donny and Fionn both in 9th

remeber to check back here next week cos we've got riders racing in Austria for Round 3, and the team are off to Canada for rounds 4 and 5, so the results will be here before they are anywhere else!!

To expand on Col's quote from DC - my source says that Peaty was 6 seconds clear of the next man!

Respect.

Well done Steve and Tracy!

Excellent news for Steve and hopefully a big relief as I am sure the pressure from the home crowd last weekend meant his awesome 4th was slightly overshadowed by his desire to please the home crowd.

Just keep it rolling and get that title Steve!

Not me, Lee!

There's a little clue as to what's going on in the thread below:
