Congregate at the top of Fastrack, Wharncliffe 12pm Sunday 2nd May.

Bring own time keeping piece. (stopwatch, or you can count)

Bring zip ties etc to stop mech smacking against chainstays.

Only pedallers cheat themselves.

If it goes well we'll have best of 2 runs....???

Also bring lunch for picnic.

Practice for an hour or so...(we all know the track).

Exact lines on track, start and finish decided upon the day.

Invite friends, relatives, future brides, partners, wives, husbands....

Alright dudes,

In light of the Welsh Champs this weekend, and the wet weather coming in, I have changed the date for this Bank Holiday Monday. If it goes well, I am hoping for more events of the same ilk, such as a Super D, Dual Slalom, ad other such events. I guess my aim is try and give Sheffield riding a fresh edge, as I reckon we have some really good riders, both in skill and as ace people, and we may as well celebrate this....and hopefully we could use the group to sort trails out, make better tracks , and support riders at races....

Great idea, love it!  Unfortunately I'm busy otherwise I'd have dug out the DH bike.

Chainless at the Dragons was always wicked - and surprising how close the with/without times were on a decent track!  Enough to make you wonder what all that pedalling was about...

Results from Monday's Chainless Race:

(Time is best out of 2 runs)

1. Ed T 1.39 (Run 2)
2. Ruari H 1.43 (Run 1)
3. Tom 1.45 (Run 1)
4. Ben 1.45 (Run 1)
5. Joe Winsone 1.46 (Run 2)
6. Gee 1.48 (Run 1)
7. Ash 1.51 (Run 1)
8. Pip 1.52 (Run 1)
9. Luke 1.57 (Run 1)
10. Katie 1.58 (Run 1)
11. Henry 2.05 (Run 2)

I'm keen to do some other races, not necessarily Chainless, but ones that aren't necessarily Chainless, but local ghetto races, where fun is the key to a days riding....
