In figured it'd been too long since my last ride on the XC so me and the mate went up on Thursday,
It was OK and not as bad as Id been reading as it was pretty dry for once,
we found the only real issue was the step bridge with its missing plank, but as I felt adventurous I rode on the log on the side and actually made it across,
But the first bridge from the top car park (cattle grid) and the next one were both looking a little "well rode" but there wasn't anything too bad,
The only issue I have is I can never seem to get onto the right of the fallen tree up on the top of the xc so have never ridden it yet  :-[,
I didn't go any further onto the other sections, but I might be getting up there one day this week so will be having a look at section 4 (the clearing and the rock garden),

It felt really good to back in a dry forest again  :)

It'll do for now  :)

I rode it several times and it didn't brake, each plank made out of 2 fixed together for strength,

Good man JJ !  it actually is really good to ride it in the dry,

Is the tree still fallen down right at the start of the XC where the new sign is ?

Nope, the first tree is either gone or its the one that's been moved,

I had a ride over the clearing and the rocks and it looked OK,but with 1 or 2 boggy bits,
